We had such a great call today that I decided I would write a blog post about it, just like I invite all our conference attendees to do at the end of a great call. Go blog about it!
Today, Kathy Stover of Internet Citadel joined us to talk about using Social Networks to brand you and build your business. I’m always excited when I can hear new information and learn new ideas.
Kathy talked about some of the critical points of building your brand online.
1. When you are setting up your profile a social media network, it’s important that you add your Personal picture to brand you.
2. It is a good idea to setup a personal account as well as one for your business. Is it necessary? No … it’s simply a good idea. It’s another way to brand you or your business.
3. There are three major networks that you need to be an active part of. They are Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
4. Kathy talked about the trends on Twitter and stressed the importance of posting quality information on Twitter not spamming your list with link after link after link. Like Facebook and LinkedIn, this is your opportunity to let people get to know like and trust you.
5. An area that I’ve used very little in the past is setting up Groups or Fan Pages on Facebook and Kathy talked about the differences between Groups and Fan Pages. One of the benefits of setting up a group is that you can invite all your friends to join your group and then you have the ability to send a ‘bulk’ mail to those members. This can be very effective in reaching your right target market with the right information.
6. Kathy went on to talk about the importance of LinkedIn and how to connect with the right people by setting up and using niche groups within LinkedIn. Kathy called LinkedIn a virtual goldmine and she gave us a few tips on how to connect with people on LinkedIn by asking and answering questions. Making connections with individuals leads to your business.
7. Video marketing is, as we stress here regularly, critical to your growing success. Can you grow without Video … sure .. and you will grow faster, get ranked sooner and attract the right people to your niche when you add Video to your website. Kathy reminded us to keep our videos to 2 Minutes or less for more effective listening. She also stressed the importance of keywords especially on YouTube or Easy Video Producer
The entire class was a great reminder that Social Networks is just that … a place to “Socialize” and meet new people, build new relationships and make new connections.
Social Networks are a place for you to share your thoughts, ideas and attract like minded people who will naturally want to do business with you.
Remember that Social networks are a big resource of people, people who may be interested in what you do, be it socially or in business.
Make some friends, get to know people, ask questions, offer solutions.
Social Media Networks can offer you a boost to your personal and business life!

Back from Vegas and ready to take on the world … still winding down or is it back up again? Don and I just got back from an amazing week in Vegas. On the weekend we attended our First Turning Point seminar with Marshall Sylver and it was truly amazing and life changing for both Don and me.
To begin the weekend, there was a get together Friday evening with the group from GVO. It was a great pleasure to finally meet, in person, all the people I’ve been working with for the past 8 months. Joel Therien, MikeyP, the GVO Academy team .. Mark, Ken, Gerry and Jerry :-), Tracie and Jaime and all the GVO folks … we met so many folks from our GVO classes, it was great to put a face to all your names I see on the training calls.
The highlight of my night Friday was receiving an award from my peers as GVO Academy Trainer of the Year. I am very honoured to receive this title and intend to hold it with pride.
Don and I came to Turning Point with some apprehension and within a few moments we both knew how powerful this weekend was going to be for us. We heard very little that we had not heard before. What was different was how we heard it. Marshall Sylver has a way of getting his point across that is quite unique.
You see .. Marshall Sylver is also a hypnotist and it is through Hypnotism that he helps us to “reprogram” our thinking to get what we want in life.
Don and I both see changes … we feel changed and WE ATE FIRE! You will see our videos below.

Instant Video Articles
Content … Content … EVERYWHERE!
Well … do I need to say any more than that? There’s the power of video, and there’s the power of Instant Video Articles explained.
This great bit of software can serve many purposes.
When you create an article for your Article Marketing Traffic Strategies, you can copy and paste from that article to create three or four short videos to mount on YouTube, Easy video Producer, etc.
You can use it to create videos for sale pages in GVO eResponder templates … the list goes on and on.
The video you just saw above was made using the software and the Audacity Audio Studio Software, which is free and a great tool as well.
IVA will merge in any audio files, but to time them to fit with your video you need to edit the music or track.
Audacity is a great and simple free tool that will do that for you. It will even let you record a voice track if you want to include narration … and you can do that over music if you like!
One Note (If you’ll pardon the pun): Be careful what music you use or what audio track.
Make sure you don’t have any problems with rights. Search on Google for “Free Bumper Music” … you’ll find tons of things you can use.
So … what can I say?
My video said it all. Seriously, take my advice and grab this little sucker before it gets so popular they come to their senses and raise the price.

Today, I want to talk to you about setting up a website to sell a Private Label Rights product. I recently downloaded a product I had access to and set it up with a page to sell the product. It was very simple to do, however it does require that you set aside dedicated time to complete the steps.
I created a site to sell a product called “How To Create An Ebook Without Writing A Word”. You can see how I created this website here:
There are many places to get PLR products that you can resell. You can purchase one or locate one for free.
If you use any Viral marketing tools, such as List Joe or Viral URL and you are an upgraded member, you will have access to PLR products in your members area as part of your upgraded membership.
You can also do a Google Search for PLR Products, or Private Label Rights products. Here you will find many free and paid for products.
My Money Fish is a membership site that allows you access to over 3,000 Private Label Rights products that you can either give away or sell. The My Money Fish membership is currently $9.95 and will soon be a monthly fee. Imagine setting up just one product a week, in 52 weeks, you could be receiving income from the sale of 52 different products. This is your BEST option for a virtually unlimited supply of PLR Products you can sell or give away.
I recommend the services of GVO for hosting your domains. At GVO, you can host unlimited domains as well, you have full access to their professional autoresponder. GVO makes Internet Marketing simple! You will be able to easily setup any PLR product through your GVO website.
You will need a new domain or you can upload your product to a folder on an existing domain.
Upload the PLR Product Zip file
You will need to access your domain to upload your PLR product. All PLR products come in a .zip file format. To upload your product you can use FTP, File Transfer Protocol, or you can upload directly from your Cpanel.
If you are a member of GVO, it is very simple. Access your Cpanel for your domain. From your Cpanel, select the File Manager option. From here you can select to create a directory for your Product or upload to the root directory.
Once the .zip file is uploaded to your website, you will select the file and unzip or un-compress the file. When you do this, it places all the files into your system to use. You will then see the file with instructions on how to setup our PLR pages.
You will need to edit the pages included with your product.
Setup your Auto-Responder Campaign
Most PLR products also offer your visitor the ability to subscribe to your list for more information if they are not yet ready to purchase your product.
You are going to need to setup a Campaign in your auto-responder for this product. You want to keep these subscribers separate from other lists that you may be growing at this time. This list is for people interested in how to Create an Ebook without writing a word.
GVO makes it very easy to setup unlimited campaigns.
Once your campaign is setup, you will then need to create a Form for your new Campaign. Once the form is created, you will have access to the HTML code to add to your PLR product page.
Setup your Paypal Buttons
Most PLR Products are setup to accept Paypal for payment. All PLR Products give you the recommended charge for your product. You can keep this charge or you can set a lower or higher fee. I recommend using the fee recommended by the PLR product owner.
From inside your PayPal members area, click on the Merchant Services to create a new Paypal button. You will need to know the URL of the redirect site where your visitor will be redirected once they pay you for the product. This information will be included in your instructions with your PLR product.
Once your button is created, you will copy the code to add to your PLR sales page.
Edit your PLR Pages
All the PLR Pages will need editing so you can add your personal name and contact information as well as your own Paypal button.
If you are using the GVO cpanel, it is very simple to edit your pages with the HTML Editor. Simple locate the page you want to edit, right click and choose HTML Editor.
Follow the instructions carefully and make sure to edit the information as directed.
Promote your website
Once you have your site setup, you will need to promote your site to attract visitors. I recommend you write articles and do blog posts about the product to attract visitors to your website.
You can promote your new website on Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Sokule. You can also add your new site to your Current Traffic Exchanges and promote your new website to the list builders you may already belong to.

Setting up PLR products will take you some time and can be quite lucrative to your bank account.

The second item to discuss in your auto-responder is your own experience and how you can help your subscriber to have a similar experience. Perhaps you represent a Network Marketing company that offers a health product and you are noticing better health results. You may have a series of emails around the products you use every day.

If you are using tools and resources that work for you then you owe it to your subscribers to share these tools with them. I take the time to test new resources before sharing them with my lists. Once I know that a resource works, then I will share that advertising resource with my subscribers and I will show them how to use it to advertise their websites.
