Ok, it’s time to get down to the nitty gritty and help everyone understand what it is you are doing here.

Whether you are working with our own New Rich Report system or you are working with XYZ system or ABC system, the process is the same.

Do you remember Dick and Jane? They were very simple novels that taught us to read. Just like the Dick and Jane novels we remember from our childhood’s, I want to make this very simple. I want to teach you how this work. If you understand how it works and what you are supposed to do then it will be easier to do. If it’s easier to do, you are more likely to do it. If you do it … you will succeed!

Here are some of the things a system is going to do for you:

1. You will use the system to build a list

2. The system will offer you your own affiliate website that collects names and email addresses of visitors to your website (just like this one http://www.newrichreport.com/janetlegere) where they can request a free copy of the New Rich Report.

3. The system will teach you how to get those visitors to your new affiliate website (all our training is offered in a step by step day to day fashion accompanied by weekly calls held online)

4. The system will offer a downline builder where you can enter your affiliate information so that your new affiliates that you will refer will join those programs with you as their sponsor. This will help to fund your online marketing. If you are not familiar with what downline builder is, you will learn about it through the New Rich Report.

Here is what you will experience when you visit my New Rich Report Website

1. You will fill out a form at the New Rich Website to receive a copy of our New Rich Report – this report will explain all about how to use a system like the New Rich system to attract prospects for your primary business while funding your advertising.

2. When you submit your form, you will be directed to a One Time offer to get your own New Rich system for free and begin to build your own list of prospects just by giving away our free report

3. You will click the button to signup for your own New Rich system. You will fill out the form, create a username and password and create your free account.

4. You will be logged in directly to the members area where you will click on the BIG RED BUTTON that says STEP ONE Quick Start Setup Guide.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO THIS PART

5. You will click on the link to read the New Rich Report

6. You will click on the link to listen to the recording with Joel Broughton as he explains how the New Rich Report system works and what a funded system is.

You will not move on until you have a good understanding of the system .. the report will explain it in detail and Joel’s recording will help you understand how it all works. It’s vital that you read the report and listen to the recording.

7. You will return to STEP ONE Quick Start Setup Guide and begin to follow the 4 parts of Step One.

a. Funded proposal: GDI – Global Domains International.

You will click your sponsors link to join GDI for the free 7-day trial ($10/month) then return to Part one and click edit to enter your GDI username.

OR, if you are already a member, you will click EDIT and enter your GDI username (this is the username you use to login to your GDI members area).

b. Secondary program: GVOCOM – Global Virtual Opportunities.

Still in pre-launch, GVOCOM will house the New Rich Report auto-responder and connect the entire system.

You will click on your sponsors link to join GVOCOM for the $1, 14 day trial ($44.95/month) then return to Part 2 to click EDIT and enter your GVOCOM username.

OR if you are already a member of GVOCOM you will click EDIT to enter your username.

c. Your Primary Business

This is where you will connect with your sponsor and find out what their primary business is. Visit their website and consider partnering with your sponsor. They are using the New Rich System because it works for them and it will work for you.

If you decide to join your sponsor’s business, you will return to Part C and click the EDIT link to enter your new Primary Business website. Your sponsor will assist you with this section.

If you already have a Primary Business you will click the EDIT link to enter the website address of your business.

d. Monetizing your list with Clickbank

Monetizing your list simply means .. making money from your subscribers. With the new rich report system we do this by offering ClickBank Information products that will help to educate your prospects on topics of interest. This process is automated for you through the automated messages that are part of the sytem.

All you need to do is enter your Clickbank username and if you do not have one, you can register to create a clickbank account.

Click EDIT to enter your Click Bank username.

You are now setup …

You are now ready to begin learning how to advertise your website. Just like setting up your New Rich system, advertising is a process you need to learn.

By now, you should have a good understanding of how the New Rich Report system works, why it works and how it will work for you.

If you focus your attention on learning to advertise your New Rich websites, you will attract visitors who will turn into subscribers, who will turn into members, who will join GDI under you, who will join GVOCOM under you, who will join your primary business with you and who will purchase clickbank products from you.

Sometimes change is necessary

Happy Canada Day !

Today, July 1, 2009, Canada is 142 years young … we sometimes forget how young Canada really is in the whole scheme of things.

I’ve been a part of this great country for all of my 55 years … born and raised here, I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

I love watching Canadians come together to celebrat Canada Day, it is truly amazing.

They did a poll in the paper this morning that showed the thing Canadians are most proud of is OUR FLAG!

I love this country … I love being Canadian.

Part of being Canadian is the ability for us to adapt to change and move forward with dignity. We welcome our new Leaders whether we voted for them or not, we give them their due time to lead our great Country.

Change is healthy for growth and I have always been one who embraces change and sees it as an opportunity.

Don and I are experiencing that change now in our business life as our systems develop and grow.

But what I noticed is … the process is not changing.

For example, as we wait with excitement for the launch of GVOCOM, we must remember that our focus is not changed. We still advertise to build our list of prospects.

Without a list of prospects, pre-launch or launch of GVOCOM will mean little to you, yet if you focus on developing your lists and building relationships with your lists, then you will be able to take advantage of the excitement of Pre-Launch.

Lose Weight to Live Longer

Did you know that losing weight could actually increase your life span? New research suggests just that.

If you needed one more fail-proof reason to lose weight, how about this: Losing weight in a healthy manner could actually increase your life span. You already know that being overweight can sap your energy, limit your daily activities and increase your risk of heart disease, diabetes and other chronic diseases. Now comes news that obesity may take years off your life. According to a recent study by researchers at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, obesity appears to shorten life expectancy, especially among younger adults.

The Latest Health News
The Johns Hopkins study shows that white women aged 20 to 30 with a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 45 were estimated to have a life span 8 years shorter than women with a BMI of 23-25. In addition, other studies have shown compelling facts about the negative health effects of obesity:

Obesity increases the risk of illness and death associated with coronary heart disease.
Obesity contributes to, and complicates, Type 2 diabetes.
Postmenopausal women who are obese have a higher risk of developing breast cancer.
More than three-quarters of all cases of high blood pressure are reportedly directly attributable to obesity.

The studies provide further evidence that obesity is an increasingly urgent health issue. According to an editorial by JoAnn E. Manson, MD, DrPH, and Shari S. Bassuk, ScD, in the Journal of American Medical Association: “Obesity is &133 associated with greater morbidity and poorer health-related quality of life than smoking, problem drinking, or poverty.”

What Can You Do?
There are some positive steps you can take to decrease obesity-related health risks.

Use our online assessment to determine your BMI. (A BMI of 30 or more is considered obese; 25 to 29.9 is considered overweight.)
If you are overweight or obese, know that losing just 10 percent of your body weight in a healthy manner can improve your health.
If you need to lose weight, do so at a safe rate — 1/2 to 2 pounds per week.
Be physically active: at least 30 minutes (adults) or 60 minutes (children) on most days of the week.
Limit TV time to less than two hours a day.
Eat sensible portion sizes.

Another suggestion I personally recommend is combining the winning solutions at Weight Watchers with the CINCH Inch Loss plan. They are a great combination!

Belly to Belly Online Marketing?

I don’t know who it was coined the phrase “You may not be doing what you love doing but you better love doing what you are doing”.

I’m of the mind one should always do what one loves doing, it’s my motto and what directs me.

When Don and I first started with our primary company, Shaklee, we realized that this company was truly a “belly to belly” company. These products were shared mostly through referral marketing in an offline atmosphere either through home parties or one on one presentations.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against “belly to belly” marketing and I do know how absolutely powerful it can be. I’ve had the privilege and honour to meet many Shaklee Masters who built their entire business “belly to belly” in every sense of the traditonal Network Marketing world.

Honestly, I have the greatest respect for anyone who can build a Network Marketing company the ‘Belly to belly” way … and in all reality … I sure could if I really wanted to and if it was something I loved doing. I could even learn to love doing it if I felt I “had” to … however …

Try as I might, I have not yet mastered the art of loving ‘Belly to belly” marketing in the offline world. But what’s even more interesting is the vast numbers of people that I meet every day who feel exactly the same.

They do not want to build there business in the traditional way.

And what about those individuals who live in small communities or are unable to leave their homes? If we are to believe that “belly to belly” marketing is the only way to build a network marketing business then how will these individuals ever succeed at doing it if they can’t get “belly to belly”.

Ok … hold on a minute … who ever said one cannot do “belly to belly” marketing online?

Seems to me that most of the people I meet online are very friendly and communicate with me … while we may not meet face to face, our form of connecting and communicating can be just as “belly to belly” as traditional offline marketing techniques. Over the years I have developed some very strong business relationships with people I have never met.

There is no reason whatsoever that I can think of that would stop any person from using the Internet to do “belly to belly” marketing for their primary business.

I do it every day and I teach others how to do it too. Anyone can create a “belly to belly” business relationship in a global market through the use of Internet tools and resources.

At one time … people learned to use a new piece of technology called a telephone that allowed you to communicate with someone without being “belly to belly”. The Internet is simply another evolution in communication that anyone can learn to use.

Whatever you do, Don’t Join MyViralSurfer!!

Whatever you do, Don’t Join MyViralSurfer!!

Well, at least not until you have read this review. My heading was not some ploy to get you to find out what is wrong with MyViralSurfer. Rather, it was meant to get your attention because there are a few things I want you to know before you join.

Okay, so what is MyViralSurfer?

MyViralSurfer is a website comprised of many services. It was developed by Craig Haywood (or the blue guy) who is also the owner of highly successful sites like TrackThatAd.com and MyViralPopAds.

Please note: I do realise that this review is a bit long, but it will soon become clear when you see just how big MyViralSurfer is.

A quick summary of the MVS homepage reveals that MVS is an ad tracking service or link cloaker, a personal list builder, a traffic generator, a member advertising service and a downline builder for any program of your choice. Let’s look at all of these in order…

Tracking Service

As a tracking service I have to admit, Craig has really pulled out all the stops. But then again, who better to design a bulletproof tracking service than the guy who brought you the very first Viral Tracking service (I will get to the viral aspect of MVS later in this review).

What I really like about the tracking service is that there is no apparent restrictions for free users apart from the viral bar which cannot be turned off by free users. Then again, why would you want to turn it off anyway as this forms part of how
this well oiled machine does what it claims to do.

Free members can create unlimited tracking campaigns and unlike what Craig has done with TrackThatAd, there is no ad gateway visitors, who click on a free members’ tracking link, first have to go through. For the budget constrained, this really is a free tracking service with more bells and whistles you will see anywhere else.

Pro members on the other hand get a tracking service better than anything else I have seen. You will not only have access to the textual data free users get, but you also get a full graphical analysis on all of your campaigns. This makes it very easy to spot trends at a simple glance where you might otherwise have missed it by just looking at the textual data.

Pro members can also use the tracking by incorporating their own domain names into the tracking link, turn the viral bar on or off and something which I really like is that they can even track sales and know exactly which advertising resource resulted in the sale… all the while creating just one campaign.

What is nice about the sales tracking is that you can use it on almost anything where you want to test conversion. For instance, you can see how many opt-ins you got to your list by advertising with company xyz as apposed to how many you got by advertising with company abc.

It is no wonder with Craig being the owner of TrackThatAd that I cannot fault him on the tracking service.

Personal List Builder

I am sure by now you are sick of hearing how important a personal list is and “The Money Is In The List”. The sad truth is, this is all true. I can lose all my online businesses today and I will already be in profit again by tomorrow just because I have a list.

As a free member MVS will build your list 3 levels deep. What this means is that you will receive the name, surname, email address, signup ip address and date of signup from all members you refer. Then the same happens for members they refer and the members they refer.

These leads are sent to you at the address you use to join MVS in such a way that you will not be able to join with an auto-responder email to have the leads deposited onto your auto responder. (Believe me, I tried)

As a pro member though, you can specify an auto responder email address and MVS will then deposit all your leads into your auto responder. For pro members this happens a full 20 levels deep. This is very important and will become apparent when I get to the Viral aspects of MVS.

Traffic Generator

The traffic MVA generates for you comes from three sources through two ads you create in your members area. The first ad is a text ad which is displayed on the viral bar of all tracking links. These ads are randomly pulled out of the database on a 1 to 1 rotational basis.

Text ads are also displayed on more than 2000 content pages throughout the MVS network which is getting more and more organic traffic every day. Once again, if you go with the pro option, you get a better deal on the ad displays.

Pro members will have a 20 to 1 rotation on all text ads. These ads can point to any website address, whether it is an affiliate site or your very own product sales page.

Another way MVS creates traffic is through a technology they like to call “Page-Behind” sites. This you really have to see to believe it! Whenever a tracking link is followed, the visitor will get to the site being tracked just as if he or she would
have typed in the address directly with the exception of the viral bar at the bottom of the site being tracked.

This in itself is nothing new as we have all seen this before. In fact Craig introduced this concept way back when he developed TrackThatAd. Once the visitor lands on the page or site they followed from the tracking link, they can go about their browsing just as they normally do. They can even click through to another site if the site they are viewing has a
link to an external website.

“Page-Behind” kicks in the moment the visitor tries to close his or her browser by showing an alert and asking the visitor to view one more offer. What I really like about this is that the offer has already loaded completely in the background while the visitor was visiting the site being tracked.

This “page-Behind” offer is actually a website address you specify in your back-office and once again, it can be any site of your choosing, whether it be an affiliate website or your own product sales page.

As is the case with the text ads, “Page-Behind” sites are randomly rotated on a 1 to 1 basis for free members and a 1 to 20 rotation for pro members.

Member Advertising Service

The member Advertising service comes in the shape of a shared mailer where members can send their offers to other members of MyViralSurfer. What is really nice about MVS is that even free members can mail to at least 1500 random prospects every week by simply getting mailing credits from their MVS homepage (more on this later)

Pro members on the other hand can mail to 1500 members in addition to the mailing credits they have built up since their last mailing 3 times a week. That effectively gives pro members the ability of reaching 18,000 random prospects a month without even building up mailing credits. Furthermore, pro members’ ads does not contain any top sponsor ads.

Pro members will also not receive mail sent by free members. This is something I really like because we all know paid members are more like to buy a product as they have already proven themselves as buyers as opposed to free members.

Downline Building

MyViralSurfer has a unique technology whereby each member of MVS gets a customized home page which they are also required to set as their browser’s homepage. Every 24 hours your custom home page is rebuilt and one of the many thing you will see on your homepage is 7 links to the days recommended programs. This will effectively be your affiliate or downline programs.

Each time a member of MVS opens up their browser, they will see these 7 links until 24 hours has passed and their homepage is rebuilt. Once rebuilt, it will show 7 other links for the next 24 hours etc, etc…

Your homepage also includes a whole array of useful utilities. For instance, you can see the results of your 5 newest tracking campaigns without logging into your account first, there is a jokes of the day section, a marketing tip of the day section where top gurus shares information which is sure to help you in your money making efforts.

You can also add up to 60 sites you visit on a regular basis which will be displayed in the order of sites you visit most often. As for the other utilities you get included with your homepage, there are just too many to list them all here, but suffice to say Craig has really done his homework to ensure you will be happy to set your unique MVS homepage as your start-up page in your browser.

Something to take note off regarding the homepage… only active homepage members will be authorised to have their “page-Behind” sites, text ads and downline programs displayed. You can also only earn mailing credits by following a link from your homepage.

This is to rule out freeloaders who think they can just join MVS for free advertising and contribute nothing to the community. All in all, I think this is a good feature as it ensures only serious business people advertise to each other and the outside world.

Viral Marketing — What’s Wrong With MyViralSurfer — Final Thoughts

A lot of people claim they know what Viral Marketing is and… some of them actually do. However, Craig Haywood has just rewritten the book on Viral Marketing. The Viral elements he has in place with MVS is something totally out of this world.

In the members area Craig actually makes this bold statement:”Every member will refer new members to MyViralSurfer, whether they want to or not. That is just the way we built the system.” This may seem like a mouthful till you realise what Craig has done. Craig has implemented Viral marketing in a way that has never been done before and while I have to admit that not every member will get referrals if they just join MVS, never to do anything with it again, I can certainly understand that it is almost impossible not to make money with this system.

I don’t want to give away too much, but should you decide to get an account, do yourself a favour and check out the affiliate tools section. You will see things there that you will see nowhere else.This also brings me back to the personal list-building feature. When you realise the extend to which Craig has implemented viral marketing in MyViralSurfer, it becomes quite clear that reaching 20 levels of referrals below you (who all end up on your list) is really not that far-fetched of an idea.

What’s Wrong With MyViralSurfer?

Seriously, the only drawback I can see is that there is a lot to go through when you first join the service. A lot of people will leave a lot of money on the table because they will not be willing to spend 10 minutes to get to know the system.

My Advice: Once you have joined, be sure to read the section under the tutorials menu on how it all fits together. You might just find yourself drooling by the time you finish it. I also had a bit of a hard time signing up to a free account with Plimus (MVS pays out commissions through Plimus), but then again, it took two minutes out of my day and this is a once-off procedure.

Other than that I really can’t fault Craig on anything else.

Final Thoughts

MyViralSurfer is a one stop, all-in-one solution that caters to most of the things we as marketers need every day. Throughout the whole members area you get a sense of quality — a rare quality as I feel most product owners only apply the bells and whistles to the sales page.

It offers everything you will need whether you are a newbie or a seasoned veteran.

While this service offers an incredible array of excellent benefits for free members, I would highly recommend you take them up on the one-time-offer as chances are extremely good you will just do it anyway later on for a higher price.

And it is very true.

You need to master the process

The process is the same whether you are selling widgets, marketing affiliate programs or building a network marketing company, the process is the same. Five simple steps to master.

1. Build your list … this is number one and most important in this entire process and there are a million and one ways to build your list. At EarthFriendlyBiz we show you exactly how to build your list and master the art of Follow-up. Anyone can master this art with our system and our training.

A Day in the Life of Janet Legere

I can’t count how many times someone has asked me … what does your typical day look like? And well, I’ll be honest. My days are anything but typical.

However, there are a few key actions that I perform every day that keep my business growing. I’ll do my best to outline my “typical” day performing these actions.

These are actions that you can perform every day, twice a week, weekly … basically whenever you can. The fact is, if you continue to perform these actions, your prospecting list will grow, you will master the art of list building and mostly, you will master the art of following up. This one action alone will be responsible for the growth of your business.

I typically get up between 5:00 and 6:00 am every day. No exception. My body wakes up whether I want it to or not and so, I use this time productively. You see, as I am in located in the Mountain time zone, at 6AM, it’s 8AM in the Eastern time zone and the Eastern time zone is heavily populated.

The first thing I do when I get up is turn my computer on and begin downloading my email. I put on a pot of coffee, do some stretching and start planning my day. (I also feed our cat, Spyder, clean out his litter .. he hates having anything in his litter box, fussy cat 😉 and glance over the news paper).

I don’t read the news in the morning … just check the headlines quickly. I find the news far too negative and I always want start my day in a positive mood. It’s sets the tone for the entire day.

With coffee in hand (I like mine with a dab of milk .. I actually prefer it with cream but my hips don’t lol), I head up to my computer to begin my day here online.

The first thing I do when I sit down at my desk is review my list of activities that I wrote down from the night before. It`s always a good idea to create your list of activities before ending your day. This activity allows your subsconscious to assist you in planning your day. You`ll awake ready to perform the tasks on the list.

If I have anything to add, which I almost always do, I add it to my list and begin doing my regular tasks first.

I check my email and organize anything that came in. I have a folder that I labeled ‘FOLLOWUP” and anything that needs my attention is moved there. Once I have checked all my in folders (I have a lot of email addresses and receive a lot of email every day) I then open my gmail account as I also receive email here.

I organize my emails here and check the requests that need my attention. In my mind I am making a mental note of how many follow-up emails I have to tend to. By doing this, I know approximately how much time I will have to allot for my follow-up.

Once I organize my gmail account, I now head over to AdlandPro, where I also receive messages from other members.

My last stop is to Facebook where I also have messages that need my attention. I am building quite a list of friends on Facebook and I share my strategies on my group.

NOTE: I am opening these programs in different tabs on my browser so that they are handy for me to get back to when I’m ready to begin the process of my follow-ups.

Ok, I’m now ready to begin the process of following up with all those emails. This process can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the type of requests coming in. Some requests take longer to respond to as I have to look up information to send back. I do my best to answer every email that comes to my inbox and always tell my contacts, if you email me and I don’t respond within 24 hours, there is a good chance I did not receive your email, or it was missed in my junk folder. Call me, send me a message on Instant messenger or re-send your email with a subject that will get my attention. Janet, I need your help please.

If you use aol or msn/hotmail email addresses, you may find that you have more problems than most when it comes to email.

I recommend a gmail account. Gmail seems to accept all email and has a really good filtering system. It’s also free. http://www.gmail.com

Once my email follow-up is complete, I can now move on to the task of prospecting. Most people are up and online by this time.

I start at Facebook and each day I load the Calgary Network that I belong to and I select my search criteria and then add new contacts to my friends list. I include a brief message that let’s them know that I found them on the Calgary Network with an interest in Networking and that I look forward to connecting. I ask them to please add me as a friend.

With this activity complete, I now move over to AdlandPro where I do the same thing. I use the report feature to find all those new members who joined since my last visit and I send them an invitation to add me to their list of friends at AdlandPro.

I send 20 to 30 invitations a day, just as with Facebook.

You can follow this activity with any Social Network that you belong to.

With invitations complete, I now spend time sending out my ads as I can. Most of the lists that I belong to and use allow me to send an email every 3 days. This means I`m not sending out ads every day. On the days that I am able to send out ads, I send to all my lists. It takes about 30 minutes total to send to all the lists I belong to.

I always see new prospects and new members when I advertise to my lists. The ads I use work and I share them with our members at EarthFriendlyBiz, our generic prospecting system where you can learn the simple processes I`m discussing in this post.

It`s now time to start calling our prospects who came through our systems. We spend 1 to 3 hours a day following up by phone. Some days it`s more, some less.

Most of my personal follow-up and communication happens online through tools such as msn, yahoo and skype as well as Facebook.

I would have to say that the majority of any given day is taken up with generating new prospects, following up with them and inviting them to view my presentation.

Remember, the mode of your follow-up (phone, email, instant messenger) is not as important as the fact that you do follow-up and make contact with your potential prospects.

I spend a great deal of my personal time on Social Networks and on Instant Messenger programs connecting with potential prospects and inviting them to view our presentation. This is what works for me, you need to find the best mode that works for you and perforn the activites consistently.

So let`s summarize my daily tasks so far.

Review my daily activity list and edit as needed (15 minutes)
Download and sort email (30 minutes)
Load programs where prospects message me (15 minutes)
Follow-up as needed (1 to 2 hours)
Advertise as able (30 minutes)
Phone prospects (1 to 3 hours)
Prospect on Social Networks and Invite new prospects to a presentation (1 to 3 hours)
Have fun and enjoy life (always!)

Throughout the day, I attend conference calls and meetings, write blog posts (like this one), write articles and reports, do the essential business paperwork, edit our websites, add tools and steps, and above all, I find time to relax and enjoy the company of my wonderful husband and business partner, Don as well as spend time with family and friends.

I would say that on average, we spend 8 to 12 hours a day on our business, after all, our business is a full time occupation for us. We are aggressively building a large organization and that means an investment of time.

The minimum time I spend on activities is 4.5 hours. Considering the size of my lists and the results I produce, 4.5 hours a day is not a lot. Some days I spend more time prospecting than others, some days I spend more time writing than others.

If you have 2 to 3 hours a day to invest in your business, you can easily create the same results that I do. If you follow the same steps you will see the same results and your results will grow and so will your income – the Law of Accumulation!

The best part of having our own successful home business is that we can choose when we `work`and when we play.
